How to play TapDynasty

1. Tap to rally the people

Tap to gather Manpower by hand. Early on, tapping is your main income — every tap gathers Manpower you can spend on your first buildings.

2. Raise buildings to automate

Spend Manpower to raise buildings — huts, granaries, workshops, markets and palaces. Each produces Manpower every second on its own, so production continues whether or not you're tapping. Owning more of the same building reaches milestones that double its output (at 25, 50, 100, 200 and 500 owned).

3. Advance the dynasty

When you can afford it, advance to the next dynasty. Each era multiplies the output of all your buildings, often unlocks a stronger building, and visibly shifts the whole page's colour — the Stone Age gives way to Bronze, Feudal, Imperial and finally a gilded Golden Age. The dynasties are entirely fictional with no real nations, flags or figures.

4. Change the era for Mandate

Eventually a run slows down. Change the era to reset your Manpower, buildings and dynasty in exchange for Mandate based on how much you produced this run. Each Mandate permanently boosts your global output, so every new run starts stronger than the last. Spend Mandate on the permanent Statecraft tree (劝课农桑 / 富国强兵 / 仓廪充盈 / 承前启后).

Offline earnings & ads

Your buildings keep producing while the tab is in the background or closed. When you come back, you'll see how much they produced — capped at a maximum offline window so the game stays balanced. Optional rewarded ads let you double offline earnings, trigger a temporary Surge, skip ahead, or boost a change-era — every ad reward also has an equal no-ad alternative.

FAQ

What is changing the era? A voluntary reset that trades this run's progress for permanent Mandate. It makes future runs faster.

How long do offline earnings last? They accumulate up to a capped offline window (extendable via the 仓廪充盈 Statecraft upgrade).

Are the dynasties based on real history? No. The dynasties are entirely fictional and generic — no real nation, flag, regime, figure or historical event is depicted or intended.

Is the Manpower real money? No. TapDynasty Manpower is an in-game score for fun only — no real-world value, no cash-out, no gambling.

Where is my progress stored? Locally in your browser. No account, no upload.

Will I lose my save? Not under normal use — the game autosaves and keeps a backup slot. Clearing your browser data will reset it.
